Artist Bio
Lucy has a Degree in Digital Film Production from the University of Suffolk and a UAL Art Foundation Diploma where she practiced documentary filmmaking, earning her a Distinction and a Commendation in the Design Museum Student Awards.
Her work often includes themes such as lived experiences, LGBTQIA+ rights and activism, empowerment, intersectional identities, queerness, neurodivergence and mental health.
She has produced two documentary films about her transition; a feature film, Pronouns in Bio (2022) and a short film, A Tight, Warm Hug (2024).
Both works have been screened at film festivals throughout the UK and United States, including at Norwich University of the Arts for Norwich Queer Fest, at TRANSlations Transgender Film Festival in Seattle and at Out on Film in Atlanta.
A Tight, Warm Hug was featured in Queer Youth Art Collective's group show, ‘Dream This Silly’ at Queer Circle in London from October to December 2024 and was screened in October 2024 as part of Dreamy Place’s Night Watch Queer Film Trail in Brighton.
